Do I need to be home for my meal to be cooked?

 

No, similar to a cleaning service, my typical customers are working professionals who typically work Monday-Friday. Our team is licensed, bonded and insured for your protection. I can use a spare key or security code to access entry and exit. 

 

Is it ok to be home while you’re preparing my meal? 

 

Absolutely! I am an invited guest in your home.  I have clients that work from home, too.  You are free to observe your meal being prepared or continue working, I'll make sure you don't go hungry!

 

Will you prepare and serve us our meal like a full service restaurant?

 

Yes. If you’d like full service then let me know the day before your scheduled meal day. I will serve you tableside like a traditional restaurant in your home. 

 

Do I need to tip the chef?

 

Tipping is optional but always greatly appreciated for exceptional service. 

 

Are you available Sunday?

 

I like to take Sunday off to spend with my family and explore new menu ideas. 

 

Will you have gluten-free or vegan choices on your menu?

 

A portion of my revenues will go into research and development for new items with gluten-free and vegan options.

 

Can I use my own serving dishes for my meal?

 

Yes. I will present your meal in your favorite serving platter or bowl unless specifed differently.  However, if something requires reheating, I’ll leave it in the disposable aluminum pan with proper reheating instructions. 

 

What if I don’t see my favorite dish on your menu?

 

Your satisfaction is my priority, let’s discuss your favorite dish by phone, email or in person and I will work on perfecting your favorite dish!  I would prefer in person so I can bring a sample!

 

 

Do you have a Facebook page?

 

We can only improve with your input.  I am working on getting a Facebook page to obtain feedback or simply discuss our passion for food and share recipes! In the meantime, you can email your feedback to madefreshtorder@gmail.com

 

I noticed you don’t have any steaks on your menu; can you prepare a meal with my favorite cut of meat?

 

Absolutely! Steaks are best savored directly off the grill and because a typical client is working during the day, most of my dishes are easily reheated in your oven or microwave.  However, let’s set up a time when you’ll be home so I can serve you your favorite cut of meat with grilled Lobster tail…surf-n-turf anyone?

 

Do you cater wedding parties or large parties? 

 

Presently, I am equipped and staffed to work small, intimate gatherings of 10-20 people.

 

Is there a delivery charge?

 

There is a service charge of $10.00 for destinations exceeding 25 miles one way. This includes the hour travel and time spent purchasing groceries and fresh ingredients on your meal day.

 

Is there is a minimum order amount?

 

Yes. The mininum order is $25.00

 

Do I have to sign a contract?

 

There is no contract obiligation. However, if you'd prefer a specific day each week, i'll gladly mark it on my calendar and extend to you a free app on your second meal day each month.

 

How long does it take to prepare a meal in my home?

 

I will typically be in your home around two hours. This includes set up, prep, cook and cleanup.

 

Do you accept debit cards?

 

We accept cash, checks and most major credit cards and debit cards.
